Mochi: Yes. If I had stayed any second longer, I would probably have died.

Well I'm glad you didn't die.
I haven't been in yet,
but I've seen some people come out of it.
Baking Ruin aside, mind showing me some of the others?

Mochi: You finally want that tour? Fine, but you pick them.

Caeli; Yeah.
And we can just go in order.

[ he does want to go into the baking ruin though,
so he can make mochi something sweet. surely he likes sweets... h- hahaha. ]

Mochi: I haven't been in all of them, and I don't care to go in any that doesn't have something I'm not interested in. So I'll wait outside.

[childeishly]

Caeli; I guess I’ll see what’s available and decide whether it’s worth my time or not then.

Anyway, I’m outside the baking ruin.

[ he doesn't answer. Instead he arrives there shortly after ]

You're lucky I have time today.

What else do you even do with your time here? This place is boring. There’s hardly any room for a guy to stretch his legs.

I have people I spend time with. And I garden. Sometimes I do a few runs on ruins, but I've stocked up on everything I need.

[childeishly]

Right. [ he looks up at the baking ruin and then chooses to head to the next one. maybe he’ll come back later or… maybe he won’t. he hasn’t decided yet. ] What ruins do you normally go into?

[ the next ruin is the one for caffeinated drinks, and he just eyes the sign, ultimately deciding to avoid it for now. ]

Fabric… [ and you have to crawl through a hole??? ]

Fabric and makeup mostly. I've been helping with sewing new clothes for everyone. We should take your measurement too.

[childeishly]

Do you want to go into the fabric ruin then? I’m pretty handy with a needle and thread. [ he’s never made clothes, but he’s certainly fixed clothes. ] I would assume there’s a measuring tape in there, so you can take specific lengths of fabric.

[abovefate]

There isn't, actually. It's really just fabric, not sewing supplies. I even had to make my own needles.

But we should put you to work if you're not helpless with that.

[childeishly]

…this place is sure something else. Do you want to go in or not? It’s not like we can’t come back later.

[ no comment about getting put to work. ]

We can go, I was just thinking about what else would be worth going into.

[ childe heads into the hole. he hates how tight of a squeeze it is, but he makes it through with relatively no problems. once inside, he just starts looking around at the bolts of fabric for anything he's interested in - any colors / patterns. ]

Making clothes for me is going to be a pain in the ass because of all of my tails. [ they sway back and forth as he finds something in a few different shades of blue. ]

[ circling around childe, and then grabbing one of the tails without warning - but he's not being rough ]

It should be fine. But it's going to take a bit.

Have you picked anything you like?

[childeishly]

[ squawks! his tails all shooting up and bristling - fluffing up to the max! he hadn't been expecting that, rough or not. ] I like this fabric... [ sets a hand on something blue as he turns around to face scara, trying to keep his tails out of reach. ] You like my tails, hm? [ leans down, giving a coy smile. ]

[abovefate]

[ don't call him out on it!! He pulls back, face going just a little red ]

I was just examining them, since you said it'll be troublesome to make clothes for you.

[childeishly]

[ that little dusting of red on scara's cheeks makes him smile. ] If you're going to be making clothes for me, then don't you think you're going to need to take a closer look? [ his tails wag back as he looks around, making sure the coast is clear before he pulls off his shirt and turns his back on scara. ] A hole would probably be sufficient, or I could just wear low riding pants. What do you think?

[ the tattoo on his arm should be obvious at the moment, but scara will only get to see the other once he turns back around. ]

Are you trying to show off now? You're really still the same brat.

[ going to walk up to him, though, his hand going to his back and just. feeling it ]

[childeishly]

[ chuckles. ] I know you do it too, so don't say that like it's some horrible thing. You know you're beautiful and I know I'm handsome. What's wrong with that? Nothing. [ his tails dip a bit, so scara can get close enough to him. ]

It might have been easier if I just had the one tail, but having five just... [ he reaches for one of them. ] it's a real pain.

Your tattoos. When did you get them?

[childeishly]

...on the other show. I had been an audition, so I had all my memories, but the usual suspects had to buy all of theirs back. [ a form of torture in and of itself. ] As an audition I came onto the show already severely corrupted. I have this one [ he looks at his own arm, turning it. ] a nod to my hydro vision, I'm guess, and then an electro one on my ankle and leg.

Sometimes it feels like I'm being held together with glue at this point. [ a halfhearted laugh. ]
