Fifty Shades of Grey; A piano piece. I'm at the stage in the dorm.

I can't promise that as I've really only just started, but it's been occupying a lot of my free time, but I figured you'd be nothing if not brutally honest with me... [ he's going to play the prelude to moonlight sonata and it's decent enough, but certainly nothing that great. ]

It's not making my ears bleed.

A raving review. It seemed like a simple enough piece… but playing this thing with claws is quite the pain.

Why bother then? Claws aren't made for a piano.

I want to be able to play for my creator again, [ if. ] when I see her again, ...but, no, they're... not.

Why do you care so much about your creator?

A good question, honestly. I probably shouldn’t, because her loyalty lies elsewhere, and I doubt I’m ever going to be able to successfully steer her onto a better and much safer path…

But perhaps it’s because she’s the only person that ever showed me any kind of attention or affection.

I'm not going to stray too far, because her brother is the one I want to kill. After that I'll consider how to move forward... until then being close to her benefits me.

So she's loyal to this brother of hers, whom you plan to kill. And you don't think she will hate you after?

I'm sure she will, but I'm also hoping that, by some miracle, she'll realize she's been being used and abused this entire time.

Obviously. I've never been one for "so long as they're happy I'm happy too". I'm more for "if I'm miserable they should be too".

Isn't being perpetually miserable tiring?

Yes, which is exactly why I don't see why I should be the only one to suffer through it.

Instead of staying miserable and making other people miserable why don't you, instead, try being... happy?

Happiness is ultimately a fleeting illusion that only lasts for a few moments at best. It's futile.

...most feelings are. But isn't that what makes life worth living? Being able to indulge now and then. Because, otherwise, if you think about it we merely live to die.

But that's why it's important to try to enjoy the time you're around, no?
