[ he gets off of him, though the glint of interest never leaves his eyes ]

[ he nods ]

Do hurry up, or I might change my mind.

I don't plan on taking long. [ and he doesn't. he heads straight to his room to collect his swords, returning and look around for scaramouche. ]

[ he's taken out the same emet gifted him - the one with which he danced last time ]

Let's at least try not to kill each other. I doubt people will help us a second time.

[ he's going to take position, smiling at him ]

[ childe takes a slightly different position and the charges forward, evading to the side at the last second to try to strike Scaramouche from a different and potentially unexpected angle. ]

[ He knows he's actually not as good as Childe is with a sword - his specialty is magic, after all. But he's observant, and his reflexes can carry him far enough - so even if he didn't see that coming, he manages to parry, trying for a counterattack immediately after ]
