[ If he were a better person he wouldn't enjoy childe being needy because he's heartbreaking, but he's not, and he does, even if he's upset for him. So he's pretty okay with it, and even pretends he cares about the explanation ]

[ childe slows the card down so he can focus more on kissing than driving. though scaramouche had been going to just a small kiss childe brings the other hand from the wheel to his cheek, chasing the affection. desperate for it. willing to drown in it this very moment. ]

[ watch them die in a stupid way again now. He'll keep with the kisses as well, matching each one and clearly enjoying the attention ]

[ the car slows to a stop and once he's through kissing scaramouche breathless he just holds him. ] I know you do, but... it had been a nice memory. And I do enjoy seeing you cook for me. [ takes his chin in hand. ] The chocolate we made was delicious.

[ this is unfortunate because even though Childe said he's not in the mood, the more they kiss the more excited he's getting, so by the time he's taking his chin in his hand his face is flushed and his pupils are once again heart shaped, this time, they're bright red ]
