But going back-- I do want to revive the Isshin art. Even though I know it will mean the end of my wandering, someday.

You don't have to be bound by tradition.
You could be a wandering blacksmith, teaching the art as you move from place to place. Maybe this art should never have been kept in Inazuma alone.
